The South End is our home when we are in Boston. We were living there part-time until just last week when we chased the sun back to California! We took these shots one Sunday on the way to Ringgold Park in the South End. This is from one of my favorite side streets just a block from our brownstone.

The South End has the largest intact Victorian row house district in the country, which is made up of over 300 acres. Eleven residential parks are scattered around the South End. In 1973, the South End was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The construction of the South End began in 1849 when the neighborhood was built on tidal marshes.

There are so many little side streets and hidden public gardens everywhere. We love going on adventures to find new ones.

Aura put on her sweet little dress for this Sunday! It’s from a Boca Raton, a little boutique store in Florida.  She is such a happy and content little girl just like her brother, it's so heartwarming to be around them. Tudor is in his favorite ‘pizza’ shorts from Gapkids and JCrew top.

Tudor loves his scooter and has gotten quite good at it on the old brick sidewalks, any chance to practise he can get he laps up - just no scooting in the house, little man ;)

There are many quaint restaurants in this area, making it a sublime destination to spend a Sunday. If you come to Boston, be sure to visit the South End.  Drop me an email for any tips on what to see at lynn@goldwestvintage.com!

I would love to hear about where you live as well, we travel all over so having some secret favourite spots to visit on our trips make them all the more special! Please drop me a note in the comments below!
