Discovering LegoLand!
Hands up if you LOVE Lego?!
We have been looking for a fun vacation for kids and decided on LEGOLAND California theme park. With fun filled days going on theme park rides, splashing around in the water park and a nightly sword vs. fairy wand fight before bedtime… its safe to say we had a BLAST!
Lego, a timeless toy, that is capable of making any adult go weak at the knees…
(when you step on one that is)
Tudor is a HUGE lego fan, and has loved it since he was old enough to put two pieces together, it was so nice to finally be able to take him to experience all that legoland had to offer!
From the moment the kids stepped out the car they had smiles on their faces from ear to ear! 😁
Isn’t it crazy to think those tiny bricks can make such HUGE, incredibly detailed figures!
I’m not sure this mama would have the patience to sit there and build one of those! 😂

the theme park
Choo Choo… all aboard the legoland express! 🚂 That was only one of the rides that Tudor & Aura loved this week. We had such fun exploring the park and it was so nice seeing my two cheeky monkeys going on so many rides!
Even the smallest of knights & princesses are able to ride around the legoland forest on the ‘Royal Joust’ ride 😉🎠 which was great as Aura got to have a go too!

the Water Park
Now we all know I’m a lover of the water🌊 ... so having some time away from the theme park and cooling off at the water park was perfect! Tudor and Aura loved Cragger’s Swamp, it’s a wave pool with slides, that kept the kids entertained and mom & dad busy!

The Hotel
What I would have given to walk through the hotel room door looking through the eyes of a child. Just WOW, the whole decor has just been designed with your kids enjoyment in mind. Tudor & Aura couldn’t get through the hotel door quick enough! We stayed in the in the Magic Wizard Rooms and it was completely enchanting!
LEGOLAND California Resort
After a chaotic week of lego fun, Nicoale and I are currently googling a nice quiet holiday… somewhere with a beautiful white beach and cocktails on tap so we can recover! 😂
