House Renovation Design & Interior Design Inspo
I’m so excited it’s finally 2022 and our House renovation project is in full swing! If you’ve been reading my blogs for a while now you’ll already know I am a professional interior designer and have a masters degree in Architecture! This is going to be a real passion project for me and I can’t wait to bring you guys along with me!! Keep reading to see my moldboard featuring Coastal Living inspo & Modern Farmhouse inspo. 🏡🛠️
The Plans: what are we changing?🏡
We are expanding the kitchen & removing a wall to allow more space!
We are adding an extra bathroom downstairs (this was a priority for us having little ones running around)
Upstairs: We are adding a guestroom and bath. The master bedroom (soon to be my second favorite room in the house 😉) will have a walk-in closet and full bathroom with his & her sinks… this is a DREAM for mama! 😍🥰
First Up… The Kitchen!
The first room I will be designing is our kitchen! Now being a mama we have to make sure that it is practical for everyday family life…but that doesn’t mean it can’t be beautiful!😉
As many of you know, we are lucky enough to live on the water🌊So with the kitchen being the heart of our home (and the place this mama seems to spend 90% of her time😂) we have decided to start here first.
Inspiration🏖️
My inspiration for the design is coastal living meets modern farmhouse. Beautiful neutral tones to emulate sand, with, of course, pops of gorgeous blues. I’m absolutely in love with the idea of having our dining sets in a seafoam green color, large wooden serving bowls & platters, maybe even gold look cutlery too. The interior designer in me is drooling as we speak at the idea of my new kitchen!!
